Imphal, August 15: While appreciating prompt clarification issued by the Khabi Chanura Lup of Nambol Khabi not involved in the thrashing of five KCP (MC) activists on charges of attempting to kidnap children before they were handed over to the police, the banned outfit's propaganda, communication and technical officer Tamnganba Meetei, however reminded that such clarification lacks clarity on the issue.

In case local club or the Lup's members were not at all involved or are responsible for the arrest of the five there should be no reason to hold back identities of those who had whisked away the five from Nambol Khabi, Tamnganba asserted.

The KCP (MC) statement also maintained that based on investigation report provided to the organisation it could be confirmed that Nambol Khabi is not involved in the said incident.

On the otherhand, Tamnganba Meetei conveyed KCP (MC)'s appreciation to the people of Manipur for honouring the boycott call against celebration of Independence Day yesterday.
