Imphal, June 05 2009: A joint meeting of the Primary Sericulture Co-operative Societies in Imphal East District held at the office of Loumi Sinmi Apumba Lup has strongly condemned the incident of bomb attack by unidentified armed persons at the residence of L Sobhasing who was the secretary of Imphal East Primary Sericulture Co-operative Federation.

The meeting felt that such unwarranted attacks would discourage the farmers from contributing their mite towards ensuring the success of the Sericulture Project in the State.

The meeting also appealed to all concerned to ensure such incidents do not recur in the future.
