Imphal, March 02: A one-day training programme on Avian Influenza for the officials of Veterinary Dept and the Forest Dept would be jointly conducted at the conference hall of State Guest House on March 9. Ten veterinary doctors and para-medical staff from all the districts and five staff from each of the sub-divisions have been informed to participate in the training programme which would be conducted by resource persons from Eastern Regional Disease Diagnosis Laboratory, Kolkata.

Twenty officials from Forest and Wild Life and five staff from ICAR, Lamphelpat would also be allowed to take part in the training programme.

The training programme is to be organised by State Veterinary and Animal Husbandry under the sponsorship of Dept of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt of India.
