Imphal, January 25 2010: The proscribed PREPAK has condoled the death of its cadres��Ngangbam Tony (24) of Uripok Tourangbam Leikai and Oinam John alias Joyshankar (24) of Khurai Soibam Leikai.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's district commander Sunil, the two cadres were pulled up by security forces clad in civilian fatigue from Khurai at about 7.10 pm of January 17 .

It alleged that the two cadres were subjected to inhuman torture before shooting them to death in cold blood at Yangbi Khunou Wakha, to the East of Naharup.

The report that one AK 57 rifle and a magazine containing seven life rounds was a big lie.

They had only one 9 mm pistol with them, it contended.

The outfit further conveyed solidarity to the bereaved families.
