Imphal, April 23 2009: AROUND 250 members of the Awang Leikangthabi Nupee Chaokhat Lup have participated today in the relay hunger strike launched by the Sharmila Kanba Lup at PDA Complex, Porompat.

The relay hunger strike which was launched on December 10 last has completed 135 days today.

Meanwhile, as a part of the Save Sharmila campaign of the SLK, around 200 womenfolk of Dengji Apunba Meira Paibee Lup have staged a hunger strike today at Dengji bazaar.
