Imphal, March 09 2009: The proscribed KCP (MC) has claimed responsibility for placing the bomb at Babina Diagnostic Centre and add-ed that it was done so since its proprietor Dr Dhabali had tried to tarnish the image of the outfit.

In a statement issued to the press today, officer, information and public relation Puranthaba said that taking into consideration the safety of the staff as well as the patients and their attendants the bomb was not exploded.

Levelling charges against Dr Dhabali, the outfit said that he taped the conversation he had with cadres of the KCP (MC) and passed on the message to police commandos to trace their cadres.

The outfit further said that on grounds of misusing funds, it has severed ties with Bony alias Chingkhei (30) of Wangkhei Thangjam Leikai, Tomba alias Md Warish (29) of Thoubal and Laiba Singh (30) of Kwakeithel Mayai Koibi.

The residence of IFCD Engineer Ranbir was also fired upon as he had not forwarded the party�s fund even the same has been collected by the officer earlier.

All these works are being conducted under the command of Imphal West district commander, Rocky, it added.
