Imphal, June 01 2009: On the 175th day of the ongoing relay hunger strike staged under the banner of Sharmila Kanba Lup demanding repeal of AFSPA, 30 women of Moirang Leirak Akham Lampak took part in the agitation.

In Thoubal district, on the 116th day of its stir, women volunteers of Nongpok Panthoibi Women Association staged hunger strike at Nunggoipokpi Maning Leikai Heibong Makhong community hall.
