Imphal, January 25 2009: The BSF has condemned the attack by the MPA, the armed wing of the UNLF in which two personnel were killed while another was injured.

Narrating the sequence in a statement, BSF said that 2/3 UGs in civvies attacked the unsuspecting BSF men with pistols from point blank range and escaped taking cover among the crowd.

BSF also refuted the ambush claim of the UNLF and added that it will always respect and uphold the human rights of the people of Manipur.
