Imphal, October 19 2009: A Havildar of 6th IRB posted at Maphou Dam has been found dead in Thoubal river.

Havildar Ningthoujam Joy (41) s/o late Amuba of Bishnupur Ward No 10, Joypur Khunou went out of his post together another Havildar identified as Kankhenthang alias Thangpi of Churachandpur at about 7.30 am of October 17 .

Kankhenthang alias Thangpi could not be traced till date.

The corpse of Joy was found at Thoubal river near Laikhong Leikai at about 8.30 am today.

Injury marks were observed on his head, neck and knees.
