Imphal, April 02 2009: In the aftermath of the killing of Kasom Khullen SDO Dr Kishan and his two staff by NSCN (IM) cadres at Taphou Kuki village on February 14, Toltheh (meaning blood stains) was performed on March 30 with leaders of different social organisations and chiefs of the area, conveyed Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills in a press release.

However, performing Toltheh does not mean that the culprits have been absolved of their sin.

According to the general customary practice of the Kukis, the guilty NSCN (IM) cadres are rather bound to perform the same in the fact that the law is taking its own course.

The same act of performing Toltheh should not be construed on any communal line, it added.
