Imphal, November 19 2009: The banned KCP-MC (Lamyanba Khuman) has claimed responsibility for causing bullet injuries to one Konjengbam Jiten s/o Biro at Moirang Patlou Leikai at about 8 pm yesterday.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's information and public relations officer Puranthaba, Jiten was penalised for his stubborn refusal not to act as informer of adversary forces and his involvement in landing two party cadres in the hands of security forces in April this year.

Party cadres who went for the mission have returned back to their camp safely, added the release.
