Imphal, June 16 2009: Condoling the brutal killing of Y Krishnadas, the proscribed KCP informed that it is investigating into the murder.

A press release issued by the outfit's CFR cum DIPR in-charge Tabungba Meitei decried the alleged attempt of the Government to link the outfit with the murder case.

Calling upon the people not to take fabricated reports or fall prey to the conspiracy of the Government, the outfit accused the State Government of torturing some of its cadres now lodged in jail physically and mentally pressing them to own the murder.

Claiming that the party has so far discovered some clues indicating that the murder of contractor Krishnadas was a case of State excess, the outfit sought public support in all its endeavours.
