Imphal, December 15 2009: Body of the person, slain by troops of 26 Assam Rifles on December 10 morning at near Kangchup Patbung village has been handed over to family members today.

Family member identified the victim at RIMS morgue as a UNLF cadre namely RK Boinaoba alias Basanta alias Thangjing (30) s/o RK Sanahal alias Kora of Moirang Kokilbon Leikai.

Family sources said Boinaoba had joined the UNLF outfit about 14 years ago only to leave home again after being released from jail in between.

He left behind his wife and a daughter.
