Imphal, July 13 2009: In two separate incidents, unidentified armed persons hurled hand grenades at the residence of one contractor of Food and Civil Supplies and a private hospital.

According to police report, in the first incident took place in Thoubal district at the Khongjam Samram Mayai Leikai residence of FCS constractor Thangjam Leisang (37) at around 9.30 pm yesterday and the second incident took place at Shanti Hospital at Lamphel Sanakeithel in Imphal West District at around 10.10 pm yesterday.

Both the hand grenades were retrieved and detonated safely by the bomb experts today.
