Imphal, May 07 2009: The proposed bandh called by Kuki Students' Organisation, Saikul Block in connection with the killing of Lalsanglen Hmangte has been called off following an agreement with the Government, informed a KSO press release.

As per the agreement made today, an enquiry committee headed by the IGP (Intelligence) would enquire into all details of the incident and submit its report to the Govt within a week.Subsequently, the KSO Saikul Block has agreed to accept the corpse of Lalsanglen Hmangte s/o late Seikhosat Hmangte of Thangkhanphai village, Saikul.
