Imphal, January 07 2009: The identity of the suspected PREPAK cadre who was shot dead by a combined force of Imphal West District Police Commandos and personnel of 12 MLI during a reported encounter at Ningombam Lamlai of Airport Road under Singjamei Police Station of Imphal West District on the night of January 5 has been established today.

He was on Thounaojam Boro (32) s/o Zilla of Kwakeithel Thiyam Leikai.

According to police, he had been arrested once earlier for having linked with PREPAK.

The body has been taken by the family members after post-mortem at the mortuary of RIMS Hospital.
