Imphal, November 05 2009: The identity of the UG suspect slain in a counter insurgency operation conducted by security forces under the command of 73 Mountain Brigade in the northern part of Loktak lake yesterday has been established.

He was one Elangbam Doren alias Jiran (20) s/o Sanajaoba of Hiyanglam Tera Pishak.

Family members said that Doren joined PREPAK about three years back.

Family members have claimed the corpse from RIMS mortuary today.
