Imphal, November 03 2009: Police have recovered a Chinese hand-grenade found abandoned from under a culvert at Singjamei Oinam Leikai area at around 11.30 am today.

According to a police report, local people detected the explosive item and soon informed the police.

Lever of the grenade was found missing, police added.
