Imphal, March 23 2009: Expressing deep concern over the recent trends of killing innocent people in the state by state forces and non state forces in which some of non-locals were targeted by unidentified gunmen, Centre for Organisation Research and Education (CORE) appealed to the state government that the life and security of the entire citizen residing in the state should be protected.

CORE in a press statement also asked the government to book the offenders soon and award befitting punishment according to the law of the land.
