Imphal, January 04 01 2010: A newly born twin were found dead at Tera Lukram Leirak in Imphal West district this morning.

The twin baby girls were found wrapped in polythene separately.

People came to know about the dead babies as dogs brought out the corpses at about 7 am today.

People saw the bags containing the babies lying beside the roadside ditch earlier in the morning.

While the body of one baby was badly decomposed, the other had its legs severed on being bitten by dogs.

Lamphel police have picked up the corpses.
