Imphal, July 23 2009: A 16-year old girl, daughter of Deputy Director of Taxation Hopeson Chothe, was hurt when unidentified armed persons hurled and exploded a bomb at their residence in Koireng Khul of Lamphel Sanakeithel area under Lamphel police station at around 7.10 pm today.

16-year old Ahuila was admitted to RIMS Hospital where she underwent minor operation for removing the bomb splinters from both her legs.

The identity of the attackers and the motive behind it has not yet been established.

A case has been registered and investigation is on.

The motive for the blast is not known.
