Imphal, June 17 2009: Demanding unconditional release of the five student leaders who have been detained under National Security Act in the aftermath of killing Prof Islamuddin of Manipur University, students and Meira Paibis continued to demonstrate at different part of the State today.

Students of Maria Montessori Senior School, Koirengei, members of Achanbigei Shanti Raksha Women Welfare Association, students of Achanbigei Aided High School, members of Khabam Women Social Information and Development Society (Luwang Sabal Leikai) and Meira Paibis of Khongnang Pheidekpi Lilando Lampak and its surrounding area staged the protest demonstration in their respective area/localities.
