Imphal, February 09 2009: As the identity of the suspected ZPC cadre who was shot dead by personnel of 8 Assam Rifles during a reported encounter on the night of January 29 last at New Chahjol under Chakpikarong Police Station in Chandel district could not be established, his body has been disposed off today.

The post-mortem of the body was conducted at the mortuary of RIMS Hospital today.
