Imphal, February 01 2010: The identity of the non-local man who was found hanging dead from a tree at Meitei Langol hillock in the morning of January 30 is yet to be established.

If no one comes to claim the body within 72 hours, the body would be disposed off, according to a statement issued by CO of Lamphel Police.

According to the statement, the deceased was dark in complexion, rounded face and pointed nose with moustache and medium build.

He was found clad in blue colour pant, Khaki colour jersey and great colour sweater with another jersey of orange and brown colour on top and a full-sleeve shirt of pink, grey and white strips underneath.

The body is still lying in the mortuary of RIMS.

A train ticket was also reportedly found in his pocket.
