Imphal, November 27 2009:
The underground United Kuki Liberation Army (UKLA-MC) has strongly condemned the killing of Reyamkhup alias Akhup Kom, former chief of Thayong village by suspected Kuki underground group on the night of November 25 .
A statement issued by the information and publicity secretary of UKLA (MC),Jameson Kuki asserted that killing of civilian is not within the justifiable limit and in such manner is against a genuine revolutionary principle.
Meanwhile, recalling the killing of two of its cadres by the AR on October 7 last at CCPur, the statement clarified that the two cadres were killed by a Major of the AR in order to win gallantry award.
