Imphal, September 29, 2009: Suspected undergrounds exploded a bomb at the Langol View Charitable Clinic early today, injuring a security man of the clinic.

The bomb went off on the inner part of the clinic near the collapsible gate at about 3.30 am.

Police suspected the exploded bomb to be a China make hand grenade.

The injured security man has been identified as Athaibou (22), son of Machuijai of Sona Security Services.

He was immediately administered medical treatment at the same clinic.

Hospital in Imphal area have been frequently targeting in the last few months apparently in connection with extortion demand.
