Imphal, December 26 2009: Suspected underground activists exploded a bomb at the house of one Moirangthem Bidhu of Moirang in Bishnupur district on the night of December 25.Decrying the bomb attack, womenfolk of the locality staged a sit-in protest today.

According to the family, the bomb hurled by the miscreants at about 8 pm on Friday exploded after hitting to the wall of the house.

No casualty inflicted.

Family also do not know which underground group performed the attack but the they received a monetary demand letter of Rs 5 lakh from the KCP (MC) Lamyanba Khuman.

The letter was also handed over to a child.
