Imphal, August 24 2009: Unidentified miscreants had triggered a blast yesterday around 7.40pm at the residence of one Langpoklakpam Chaoba (65), a teacher at Songphel UJB School, located at Yairipok Yambem.

However, report of casualty has not been received.

The blast is said to be related to monetary demand from an underground group.

A sit-in-protest was staged today at the place to register condemnation over the incident.
