Imphal, December 16 2009: Locals today staged protest against the bomb threat at the NRL Oil Pump at Khurai Thangjam Leikai yesterday evening by miscreants.

The protest was staged under the aegis of the Khurai Apunba Nupi Lup at the oil refilling station.

The service of the station also suspended for the day.

Speaking to reporters, advisor of the Khurai Apunba Nupi Lup, Th Jibanmala expressed strong dissatisfaction over the bomb attack to such an highly inflammation station which may cause massive damage in the surrounding areas if it happened to explode.

She also demanded clarification from the attackers if any hand of underground groups behind it.

Meanwhile, proprietor of the oil filing station said that several underground groups served to him.

So, he could not guest which group would be behind yesterday's threat.
