Imphal, January 14 2009: IN THE escalating spree of killing in what police said encounters, another youth suspected to be a millitant was gunned down by a combine force of Imphal West police commando and troops of 16th AR at Longa Koireng under Patsoi Police Station tonight at around 8pm. Police said, a China make hand grenade recover from the slain suspect whose identity is yet to be established.

Police retrieved the dead body from the spot and deposited at RIMS morque.
