Imphal, May 09 2009: THE PREPAK today refuted the claim of the SP of Imphal West district police which stated that a PREPAK cadre, Ng Nanao (27), was killed by a team of Imphal West district police commando on May 7, and termed the statement as baseless.

A statement issued by the Imphal West district commander of PREPAK, Jameson stated that the outfit had maintained no relation with Ngangbam Nanao in any way.

It further stated that killing of innocents' right in front of their parents is not the first instance while saying that it is part of terrorism unleashed by security forces.
