Imphal, December 14 2009: The identity of the person killed by the troops of 29 Assam Rifles at Simang village under Tengnoupal police station on December 11 last has been established as one Nongmaithem Premjit (35) son of N Irabot of Serou Mayai Leikai, Thoubal district.

He was a contractor and survived by his wife, a son and three daughters.

He failed to back home after he went to Moreh.

Family who has been searching for his whereabouts after he failed to back home, found his lifeless body at RIMS morgue today.
