Imphal, November 11 2009: The Gauhati High Court, Principal Seat at Guwahati has admitted the 'Appeal' preferred by Thangjam Ongbi Khumanlei, mother of deceased Thangjam Manorama.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Human Rights Law Network (Manipur), Meihoubam Rakesh, the said Writ Appeal was placed before a division bench comprising Justice Amitava Roy and Justice C.R.Sarma.

Colin Gonsalves, Senior Advocate of Supreme Court appeared on behalf of the Appellant and Meihoubam Rakesh, Advocate assisted him during the hearing of the matter.
