Imphal, November 10 2008: SOME UNKNOWN persons lobbed and exploded a hand-grenade at the house of Pungshungbam Bimola Devi at Achanbigei Mayai Leikai around 7.30 p.m.yesterday.

However, no one was injured in the explosion but caused some damages.

Bimola Devi is a member of Zilla Parishad, Imphal East.

At present, 10 members of Zilla Parishad have been camping at her house with an objective of proposing her to be a candidate of Adhyaksha.
