Ccpur, October 27 2009: In solidarity to the agitation launched by All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU), Manipur Hill Journalist Union (MHJU) has served ultimatum to the State Government to fulfill the demands of the AMWJU within November 2 failing which the Union will take course of action by surrendering Identity Cards and stop the publication of Government developmental news henceforth in the District.

A meeting of MHJU held today at CDSU office here decided to boycott Information Day which fall on November 1 stating that if the journalists are not respected by showing press card there is no meaning of celebrating Information Day.

The MHJU also decided to take part at the rally to be organized by AMWJU and sit-in-protest in future.
