Imphal, April 13 2009: Around 30 womenfolk of the Kombilei Meira Paibee Lup have participated in the relay hunger strike today at PDA Complex, Porompat as a part of Save Sharmila Campaign.

The relay hunger strike launched by the Sharmila Kanba Lup on December 10 last year has completed 125 days today.

Meanwhile, as a part of the Save Sharmila Campaigns, a sit in protest was held today at Kakching Khunou by around 100 womenfolk under the aegis of the Kakching Khunou Thingom Apunba Meira Paibee Lup.

National awardee T Rasheshore spoke as the resource person.
