Imphal, June 26 2009: One of the two militants whom the state police had announced reward for giving information leading to their arrest � in connection with the killing of two migrant workers of Maphou Dam at a place in Bishnupur on June 4 � has been arrested today by the Thoubal district police commando.

According to report, the arrested man has been Sagolshem Ibochouba alias Athouba alias Yuremba (21) son of S Budhi of Wapokpi Chingol Leikai, Sugnu, Thoubal district.

He is said to belong to the 31st Batch of the UNLF (Army No 1951), and is also said to have got trained in Myanmar.

The report said that he was arrested by the Thoubal district police today around 1.15pm while conducting frisking at Arong Thong in Thoubal district.

He was one of the prime accuses in the killing of two migrant workers at a place near Leimaram in Bishnupur district on June 4 last.

The state police department has announced a reward of Rs 1lakh for information leading to the arrest of the two accuses.
