Imphal, March 18 2009:: Four dead bodies killed in reported encounters, including one that has been refused by family members claiming he was innocent, have been lying at the RIMS Morgue here.

Three of the corpses were said to be picked from Border Pillar 81 under Moreh Police station in an encounter between 313 AR and suspected militants on March 15.The dead bodies seem to belong to Meitei community.

No one has come forward so far to see the bodies.

Meanwhile, one of the dead bodies has been identified as Akoijam Priyobarta @ Bochou s/o Ak Rajen of Mongsangei Boroi Makhong who has been killed in a reported encounter with the Imphal West district police commando near the gate of Sangai Second Home, Langol under Lamphel Police Station on March 15.
