Imphal, June 14 2009: Protest against the arrest of students under NSA in connection with the killing of Prof Islamuddin at MU continues in the state.

The Naharup Sangong Makhong Meira Paibee, Keikhu Kabui Gate, the Naharup Mayai Leikai Women Welfare Association, Naharup Awang Leikai Women Welfare Association, Brahmapur Ema Chaokhat Thourang Nupi Lup, Uripok Sorabon Thingel Leikai Meira Paibee Lup, Kumbi Keithel Ema Meira Paibee Lup, Chingmei Keibul Apunba Ema Meira Paibee Lup, and Ningombam Leirak and Pishumthong Meira Paibee have staged sit in protest at their respective places protesting the detention of students under NSA demanding their immediate release.
