Imphal, February 06 2009: The dead body of a man found at the south eastern corner the Khuman Lampak Bus Terminus on February 2 last has been identified as one Bikram Tamang (45) hailing from Kanglatombi Shantipur.

The body has been delivered to his family members today.

According to the family members, Bikram Tamang had been suffering from fits.

On the other hand, the bodies of two persons who were killed in an encounter with a combined force of the Imphal West Commandos and 39th Assam Riffles at Tendongyan foothill under Sekmai Police Station yesterday had been identified as Zakir Hussain (24) who was hailing from Thoubal Moijing Wangmataba and Shakiur Rehman (23) hailing from Thoubal Khekman Amakcham.

The family sources said that they went away from home yesterday morning along with three other persons namely Samirdur alias Abo (35), Ziaur Rehman (25) and Akbar Khan (35).The where about of these three persons are still not able to be confirmed.

Due to some disagreement with the JAC, the families of the dead bodies are not accepting the body.
