Imphal, June 03 2009: One non-local hailing from Bihar state was gunned down this afternoon by two miscreants at his grocery shop in Lamlong Bazaar at Imphal East district.

According to sources, the incident occurred at 2pm when two armed gunmen entered the grocery shop located at Lamlong Bazar and fired few rounds at the victim.

The victim was then rushed to the Jawaharlal Nehru (JN) Hospital, Porompat in Imphal East district however was declared brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Harinder Yadav (50), son of (L) Roshan Yadav of Sapara district of Bihar.

He was running a grocery shop in the Lamlong Bazar.
