Imphal, June 02 2009: The KRA today assured to initiate action against those involved in the shooting of a civilian at Kangpokpi yesterday night, according to the publicity secretary of the KRA, T Simte.

Simte also demanded clarification on the matter from the concerned group while also strongly denouncing the incident.

Thanggoumang Vaiphei (25) son of Haosei Vaiphei of Kangpokpi IT Road was injured when gunmen numbering around 10 shot him yesterday at a place in Kangpokpi bazaar.
