Imphal, November 24 2009: Two dead bodies of the Assam Rifles personnel who died in an encounter with the MPA cadres yesterday in Dingpi area of Chandel district have been flown to their respective homes after conducting postmortem at RIMS morgue here today.

The two bodies of the AR, flown home today, have been identified as Havildar Bipan Singh Parmar (42) of Kangu village of Himachal Pradesh' Hamirpur district and Havildar Narayan Singh of Pinariya Sera village of Pithorgarh district of Uttarakhand.

The other three dead bodies which remain at RIMS morgue have been identified as Major Bhupinder Mehra (33) of Indira Nagar, Lucknow district of Uttar Pradesh, Assistant Commandant, Dr Ramendra Kumar, MO, of Lauwal village of Bihar's Siwan district, and Rifleman Ajoykumar (35) of Prasad Bhiga village of Jehanabad district, Bihar.
