Imphal, March 23 2009: Zeliangrong Youth Front condemned the killings of Zeliangrong people on February 1 and March 9 by suspected cadres of Dima Halam Daogan (DHD) in Assam.

One Haideuranbe was killed on February 1 and Nampuidungpe and Poudeiheung were slain on March 9, said a press release of ZYF.

The students body further warned the outfit to take up stern measures with the help of the general public if such killings are repeated in future.

ZYF also urged the Assam Government to look into the matter.
