Imphal, December 08 2009: Komrem Region of the GPRN/NSCN (IM) condemned in the strongest term the killing of former chief of Thayong village, L Rejamkhup Kom on the night of November 25 by unidentified persons/group.

A statement issued by the CAO, Komrem region of the NSCN (IM), Wilson S Kom asserted that region will investigate and award befitting punishment to anyone found involved in the act without any reservation whatsoever.

The Komrem region also extended heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family while also praying for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
