Imphal, January 07 2010: Imphal West District Police has reiterated its appeal to the non-Manipuri/migrant labourers to stay and work within the Municipality area/Imphal bazar areas only.

In a statement, Senior SP of the district L Kailun also asked the migrant labourers not to venture out in the far-flung and interior areas to avoid any untoward incidents.

Further, the general public have been requested to inform the district police about the presence of non-Manipuri/migrant workers in their houses/areas/ localities, so that collective security can be provided.
