Imphal, May 30 2009: The Thangmeiband Improvement Club (TIC) and the Apunba Meira Paibi of the locality expressed their deep concern over the firing of few rounds of bullet at the residential gate of IFS-DFO of Tamenglong District, Laishram Gopal, a resident of Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai on the evening 7 pm of May 29 last.

A statement of TIC stated that a sit in protest was also observed today at Lilasing Khongnangkhong today demanding not to undertake such terrorizing act in the area in future.
