Imphal, July 17: Taking serious note of abducting children of tender ages by unidentified persons and appealing for their safe and immediate release, Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasillol Apunba Lup (Kangleipak), All Manipur Government Higher Secondary Lecturers' Welfare Association, Village Women Coordinating Committee (imphal West-I) and People's Platform Secretariat (Hatta Minuthong) in separate statements conveyed that separating young and innocent children from their parents is most inhuman form of crime.

These organisations also drew the attention of the Government to initiate all necessary measures in order to curb the menace.
