Imphal, March 12, 2010: Locals of Sagolband Tera Yengkhom Leirak today staged a sit-in-protest in denunciation of bomb attack on the residence of Lamjaotongba Gram Panchayat Pradhan Thokchom Sumanta.

Two unidentified persons who came by a scooter lobbed a hand grenade at Sumanta�s residence last night at around 9:30, said family members.

Police retrieved the unexploded bomb yesterday itself.
