Imphal, December 05 2008: MISCREANTS GUNNED down a man this evening at around 4.50 pm at Langjing Achouba under Lamphel police station, a police report said.

The slain man has been identified as Ahanthem Ibochouba alias Achoubi of Langjing Achouba Makha Leikai, a married man with three children.

He was a mohori in a brick field.

The dead body has been retrieved from the spot by the police and deposited at RIMS morgue for post mortem.
